Be a part of changing the lives of our students- and an entire community!
This year, Voces y Manos is providing our supporters the next best thing to travelling to Rabinal to see our work first hand: We are partnering donors directly with a student. For just $1 a day, you can become a sponsor for one of our students. As a sponsor, you will receive personal letters from your student, allowing you to take full part in fostering the development of one of Rabinal’s next generation of great leaders. 100% of sponsorships will go directly to the student you are supporting!

♦ Visionary: $2,000+
By becoming a VISIONARY, you will be the personal sponsor for one of our students, AND help expand the horizons of Voces y Manos’ work*
♦ Leader: $1,000
By becoming a LEADER, You will be the personal sponsor for one of our students, AND help us provide additional services (such as tutoring) to meet the needs of ALL our 29 students.
♦ Sustainer: $560
By becoming a SUSTAINER, You will be the personal sponsor for one of our students, AND contribute an addition $200 to a special fund for our students’ community projects
♦ Sponsor: $360
By becoming a SPONSOR, you will provide a student with a full scholarship for 1 year.
♦ Collaborator: $180
As a COLLABORATOR, you will cover half the annual scholarships costs for one student.
♦ Friend: $1-$180
As a FRIEND, your contribution will help ensure all our students receive scholarship
♦ Other Amount (A donation in any amount is greatly appreciated)
*As a visionary, will be invited to meet with the Voces y Manos Board to learn how your gift will be used to better community health and education.

Voces y Manos is committed to making it as easy as possible for you to follow the academic progress of our students, as well as their ongoing community work. Stay up-to-date by:
- Check your mail for photos and an annual letter (original with English translation), from the student you are sponsoring! (This applies only to donors who give at the sponsor level or above.)
- Check your email for updates on the latest news about our students and their projects!
- Check our blog (vocesymanos.wordpress.com) and website frequently to stay informed of new developments in our work!
Two Easy Ways to Give
In past years, making a tax-deductible contribution to Voces y Manos came at the cost of a 10% processing fee. Now, thanks to the support of the Lantern Projects, this fee will be between 0% and 2.5%. The Lantern Projects is a Piedmont-based non-profit that has supported over 170 humanitarian projects around the world. Until we receive our non-profit certification, we ask that all donations be directed through the Lantern Projects.
You may contribute either by check, or online using your credit card. In either case, you will receive a thank you and acknowledgement from Lantern Projects including a tax-receipt confirming that your gift was tax-deductible.
Option Number 1: Send a Check
If you choose to donate by check, 100% of the funds will go directly to Voces y Manos’ programs (unless the check is from a foreign bank).
1. Make a check payable to: Lantern Projects
2. In the Memo of the check, write: “For Voces y Manos”
3. Place your check and the donor information card in the enclosed envelope, and mail it to:

Option Number 2: Credit Cards/ Paypal
If a credit card is used, a 2.5% processing fee is deducted from your donation. The remaining 97.5% will go directly to Voces y Manos’ programs.
1. Go to www.lanternprojects.org
2. Click on the “Donate” button on the top menu
3. Click the large red “General Donation” button, and follow the Pay Pal instructions for credit card information (you do NOT need to have a Pay Pal account)
4. At the end of the prompts it says, “Please review your donation.” On that page (left hand side) it says “Add special instructions for the merchant.” Click on that and type in “Voces y Manos Scholarships.”
